Occupational Health & Wellness Nurse

Shore Gold Inc. is currently recruiting an Occupational Health & Wellness Nurse for its Star Diamond and Fort a la Corne Joint Venture projects located 60 kms east of Prince Albert, SK, home of North America’s largest diamond exploration project.

Reporting to the Senior Safety Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include promoting safe and healthy work practices, attending to workplace illness and injury, providing First Aid, CPR and other relevant training, and the development & administration of Shore’s disability management program, including WCB, off-the-job disability and return to work plans.

The work schedule will initially be based on a 4 day on/3 day off rotation, moving to a 7 day on/7 day off rotation.  Residence in our camp is initially required, while eventual relocation to the Fort a la Corne area is preferred.  Comprehensive relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

1. Diploma or degree in nursing with an RN designation
2. Experience in emergency medial care
3. Certification in First Aid and CPR as an instructor
4. Disability management experience is considered a strong asset
5. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
